Great Sunday afternoon talking to some very passionate food creators in at the Artisanal LA show yesterday. It is always so inspiring to be around people who follow their passions and make things happen for themselves. Take a look below at some of the highlights.
Instaparty box is a great idea for parties (duh), weddings, events, etc. What is better than a token gift from the event you attended as a keepsake? I’ll tell you - one you can use a hashtag to instantly print from your phone. Take that Instagram.
These are some of my favorite vendors I had the pleasure of chatting with yesterday.
Olive Heights Trading Co. is a craft bitters creation with flavors beyond your imagination. Created from the heart by a passionate mixologist from family recipes - they are not only the perfect, but up and coming, trend in your cocktails.
Laguna Salt Co. caught my eye as a familiar OC comrade in the sea of LA-ness (love LA, just live OC). I had no idea how potent salts could smell until Jolie introduced me to everything from Truffle oil salt to a California Red flavor. Look for it soon in Laguna’s Whole Foods!
House of Commoners are two of the nicest guys I spoke with at the whole event. Genuinely looking to create quality products, they are crafting one of a kind leather wallets, satchels, and beyond - by taking a leap of faith and quitting their full time jobs to pursue this for good, I only wish to see them soar.
SAP is like nothing I have tasted before. It is the simple combination of a pure ingredient + sugar + water, that you can virtually mix with anything! (My preference would be a cocktail of course though!)
